Directions

By Car

From the M4

Exit at Junction 18 and follow the signs to Bath. Follow the signs for the A36 towards Warminster for 10 miles and then the A361 towards Frome.

From the M3

Exit onto the A303 towards the South West. After 20 miles, turn right onto the A36 towards Warminster then the A361 towards Frome.

Then,

Go straight over the first roundabout and proceed for 1 mile before turning right; signposted to Radstock. Proceed for 1.5 miles and turn right at the T-junction. Continue for 500 yards and you will see the entrance to Orchardleigh Estate on your right - between the two stone lodges. Once on the estate, continue for 1.5 miles along the estate’s private drive and through the golf course. The Walled Garden is clearly signposted from here and there is ample car parking on-site.

By Public Transportation

Unfortunately, there are no direct links to the venue by public transport. The closest train stations are Frome (4 miles) and Bath Spa (15 miles). From here, we would recommend getting a taxi to complete the journey. Please note, trains can be expensive and are often cheaper when booked in advance.

Please note, if you are being dropped off by taxi, you will need to specify the Walled Garden, otherwise the driver will likely drop you at Orchardleigh House.

By Plane

The closest airport to the venue is Bristol Airport; however, the majority of flights from the USA will arrive at London Heathrow or London Gatwick, which are both a roughly 2-hour drive from the venue. There are a range of options to complete the journey from the various London airports.

Suggested routes from Heathrow

  1. Heathrow Express train, or London Underground, or a taxi to London Paddington Train Station. Train from Paddington to either Frome Train Station, or Bath Spa Train Station.
  2. National Express coach bus from Heathrow to Bath.
  3. Railair bus from Heathrow to Reading Train Station. Train from Reading to Frome or Bath Spa.

Suggested route from Gatwick

  1. Train from London Gatwick to Reading Train Station. Train from Reading to either Frome Train Station, or Bath Spa Train Station.

  • WG is the Walled Garden, which is the location of the wedding ceremony and reception.
  • P is the free, on-site parking lot for the Walled Garden. Please, note that you must turn right prior to the cottages and loop around to the parking lot. This will be signposted on the day.
  • A is the Village cottages, which is the on-site accommodation and provides additional parking in its central courtyard.
